Gil

Adopt Gil!!! He is a 2 year old Komondor (dread lock breed/ aka Corded) and Great Pyrenees mix. This definitely makes him beautiful but not an easy coat to care for... He is located in Oklahoma but we ADOPT NATIONWIDE and transport nationwide!

Gil's coat tries to matt at the skin, normal for a Komondor as then it requires splitting and cording the matting daily. The Great Pyrenees gives him the long flowing locks that truly are beautiful but do no good along side his Komondor breed.

Both are considered LGD but Gil has zero experience in that and it comes down to either a very dedicated adopter who will get him groomed properly monthly or clipping him way down to save the trouble. Our groomer took 3 days to do all she could to save his coat. It was a gruelling process but a part of me adores his floof!

So now all grooming aside, Gil is amazing! He loves kids, never bothers our cats and prefers female companions only. He is extremely selective with males, which is common in his breed.

Gil needs the right home, one that will love his cuddles, sweet temperament and continue to work on his basic training skills. He is a big boy, ready for his forever family!
