Tahira

Welcome Tahira to #ASAR rescue! This is one of our El Paso 5 we brought in last week! She is said to only be 1yr old, per vet records, totally sweet, social, did amazing at our event too!

Currently located in Oklahoma but we ADOPT NATIONWIDE, foster nationwide and transport nationwide!

Tahira is a pocket Saint at right around 100 pounds, she has a beautiful half-mask, monks cap and stunning coat that will continue to become amazing in time with our super nutritional plan, supplements, etc.

Tahira is special, when I say that, not specifically medical needs but she is missing 2 of her inner toes on a back right foot! It does NOT slow her down at all though, nor cause any gait imbalance, pain or issues. We have no idea exactly how it happened but know we will accomodate her moving forward.

She will likely fill out in the next year but for now she looks like a puppy, she's chill, loves kids and so far has not reacted to the cats here at our facility. She's currently in a playgroup with another female from El Paso, Tx and we will add in a male this week. Then continue to test her with everything.

She's not slobbery yet, she is a bit shy but she's only been here a week so far! We will be posting the rest of our El Paso 5 as the week moves forward!

Everyone has some vetting, some need altered and all need HW tests and full exams by our vet. Also several need teeth cleaning, which we are scheduling. Even at 1 year old, poor care, genetics and poor nutritional content can cause plaque build up!
