Saint Bernard

This is Bentley! He is one of our El Paso 6 we took in last year. Bentley was aged at 4, but teeth are an awful science. Everything in my bones believes he is still under or just over 2 years old!

When he arrived, he was calm, ate good for a few days, then quit eating. So we rushed him to the vet, bloodwork slight elevated white count like 1k high, but nothing else. He had no Tickborne illness, no Heartworm, so we put him on Clavamox and repeated bloodwork in 2 weeks. It was then 16k high!!!! The vet and us scrambled researching other illnesses and fungal things. She said let's try something different like Baytril, its a broad spectrum high dose antifungal and antibiotic. That was $12/day for 14 days.

3 days in, he was chowning his food down, so excited to go out and play he would literally jump off all 4 feet 3 foot in the air!!!! This was a TOTALLY different dog!

Since treatment, he absolutely still gets that excited and has put on some weight and is the absolute happiest boy ever! He loves people, ignores our cats, loves other dogs and loves to wrestle and play like crazy! He's gorgeous, stunning coat, sweet deep eyes! He would do amazing with a male or female his size or bigger. He was not a fan of a smaller dog we test with.

Bentley needs a good type A personality, probably kids over 8 unless extremely dog savvy - he needs to learn impulse control and calm. This could be to our facility environment!
